I created this brand because I couldn’t find myself in the clothes made for us. Too often, queer fashion defaults to masc energy, rainbow capitalism, or fleeting nods to identity once a year. But where was the everyday softness? The drama? The femme desire? The stories that feel like us?

Essence Femme was born from that question.

We make oversized vintage-style tees inspired by the chaos of sapphic crushes, femme friendships, and the kind of longing that lives in your favorite playlist. Each design is a comic strip moment — flirty, bold, sometimes messy — but always real. These shirts aren’t just cute. They’re declarations. Of queerness. Of femininity. Of wanting to be seen exactly as we are.

Our characters and stories reflect the diversity of femme lesbians — emotional, confident, dreamy, rebellious, in love, in heartbreak, in brunch — all of it. Because we’re not a trend. We’re not just here for Pride month. We are the main character, every damn day.
